Sarek

The largest wilderness in Europe

Impatient sled dogs pull wildly on the tug lines. The air is full of uninterrupted howling. They seem possessed; bursting at the seams with eagerness. They want one thing: Get out and pull!

You release the brake and ride like a motorcycle driver through the first curve. Thin mountain birches whip by. You leave civilisation and life has almost never been more fantastic. Sarek National Park lies in front of you.

Sarek offers the largest area of uninterrupted wilderness in Europe. Our most original mountain landscape with really high peaks, large glaciers and deep valleys. Night in isolated mountain cabins at the edge of the national park and daily dog sled trips into the great beyond. Snow shoes are also along on the tour, so you can track wolverines, reindeer, moose, lynxes, hares or grouse.

Sarek movie

Jokkmokksguiderna know the land well and run a small kennel with about 40 Siberian Huskies. They live in and with nature. You can’t really get closer to the wild.
